Visual marketing for younger audiences
Difficulty: Moderate
Instagram requires a Business or Creator account (not personal), and it MUST be connected to a Facebook Page. This is a Meta requirement, not ours.
An Instagram Account
Either personal (which you'll convert) or already a Business/Creator account.
A Facebook Business Page
Your Instagram Business account must be connected to a Facebook Page. If you don't have one, create it first (see our Facebook guide).
Admin Access to the Facebook Page
You must be an Admin of the Facebook Page that Instagram will connect to.
If you already have an Instagram Business or Creator account, skip to Step 2.
This is required by Meta for API access.
Once linked, Applisum can:
"I don't see my Instagram account"
Make sure your Instagram is a Business account (not personal) AND connected to a Facebook Page you have Admin access to.
"Permission denied"
You must be an Admin of the Facebook Page. Ask the Page owner to add you as an Admin in Page Settings → Page access.
"Can't connect Instagram to Facebook"
Make sure you're logged into the correct Facebook account. The Facebook Page must be in the same Meta account as your login.
Instagram is powerful for visual businesses — nail salons, spas, restaurants, fashion, and any service where you can show your work. The younger demographic (18-35) is heavily active on Instagram. If your customers take photos of your products or services, Instagram is where they share them.
